UPMC Signs with JustAskEvie to provide 24/7/365 real-time support for UPMC providers
University of Pittsburgh Medical Center has signed with JustAskEvie, areal-time virtual EMR support platform and service, to provide 24-hourEMR workflow support for their providers.
JustAskEvie's web-based platform will be accessed from UPMC's electronic medical record, Epic, and will connect a medical provider needing workflow assistance to either a UPMC EMR support staff member or one of JAE's Epic certified clinical super users in real-time.
Understanding the importance of a well-implemented and supported EMR, UPMC decided to modernize its workflow support process away from the traditional ticket logging system and telephone help desk to JAE's easy button.
This will allow for optimization of the UPMC support staff without the need of being tethered to a computer and the ability to have affordable after-hours support from a peer provider.
